Maine Island Trail Ale
Since 2014, the Maine Island Trail Association (MITA) and Rising Tide Brewing have partnered to bring you a remarkably drinkable session IPA that does so much more than stimulate your taste buds. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of Maine Island Trail Ale goes to us, the Maine Island Trail Association, in support of our mission to advance a model of thoughtful use and volunteer stewardship of Maine’s wild islands, creating an inspiring recreational water trail that is cared for by the people who use it.
What’s the Maine Island Trail?
The Maine Island Trail is a “water trail” of islands (and some mainland sites) that runs from border to border off the Maine coast. MITA does not own any of the Trail’s sites, but is able to publish access to them by agreement with the landowners. In exchange, MITA staff and volunteers perform environmental stewardship and assist with other land management needs. In 2024, MITA volunteers contributed over 8,000 hours of service to the Maine Island Trail, helping to maintain the health and beauty of Maine’s most unique and expansive recreational resource.

YETI Cooler Giveaway – Official Rules
No Purchase Necessary to Enter or Win
1. Eligibility
The giveaway is open to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees, board members, and immediate family members of the Maine Island Trail Association or Rising Tide Brewing Company are not eligible to enter or win. Void where prohibited or restricted by law.
2. Entry Period
Entries will be accepted starting on June 20 and ending on September 30. All entries must be received by 11:59 PM ET on the closing date.
3. How to Enter
No purchase or donation is necessary to enter. You may enter in one of the following ways:
In Person: Complete a raffle entry form at participating events hosted by the Maine Island Trail Association or Rising Tide Brewing Company during the entry period.
By Mail: Mail a postcard with your name, address, phone number, and email address to:

Mailed entries must be received by the end of the entry period to be eligible. Limit one entry per person regardless of entry method.
4. Prize
One (1) winner will receive a YETI Cooler (approximate retail value: $250). Prize is non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash or an alternative prize.
5. Winner Selection and Notification
The winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries on or about October 1. The winner will be notified by email or phone within five (5) days of the drawing. If the winner cannot be contacted within seven (7) days, an alternate winner may be selected.
6. General Conditions
By participating, entrants agree to these Official Rules and the decisions of the sponsors, which are final and binding. The Maine Island Trail Association and Rising Tide Brewing Company reserve the right to cancel or modify the giveaway if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor impairs the integrity of the giveaway.
