Wow, what a turnout for the 2026 MITA Photo Contest! We are so thankful to every member of our amazing community of island adventurers who submitted. We loved seeing where the summer took you. Now, it’s time for everyone to cast their votes for the best of the best.
This year, we’ve selected seven finalists. Congratulations to Katie Busick, Sean Carnell, Bill Doucet, Elizabeth Gross, Evan Kay, Dylan Ladds, and Brian Threlkeld on being named finalists for this year’s contest!
Our finalists are competing for prizes from FLYN, Hamilton Marine, and L.L. Bean. A big thanks goes out to these wonderful businesses for supporting the 2026 Photo Contest.
So, share these incredible images with your friends, get those votes in, and stay tuned for November’s News & Notes to see who our winners are!
