Enter the 2026 MITA Photo Contest!

It’s officially autumn, and that means it’s time for Maine Island Trail adventurers of all stripes to go through the camera roll and submit their best of the best to the 2026 MITA Photo Contest!

The rules are simple. Submit your best photos from the Trail (no more than three, please) to MITA’s own photographer, Nick Parson, at nick@mita.org by noon on Friday, October 16. Shortly after the deadline, finalists will be selected and MITA members will be called upon to vote for winners.

We’ll have prizes for the top three finishers, with the grand prize winner also receiving publication of their winning photo in the upcoming winter edition of The Island Trail.
