Splash! Hosts Record-Breaking Crowd

Thanks to YOU, last night’s Splash! celebration was a tremendous success, and MITA’s largest fundraising event ever. Nearly 300 friends and supporters gathered at East Coast Yacht Sales in Yarmouth to celebrate the Trail, connect with fellow stewards of the Maine coast, and raise critical funds for MITA’s work. Together, our community helped generate record-breaking support for island stewardship and access programs.

Of course, there are so many others to thank for last night. The Launch Committee was the largest in Splash! history, and we are grateful to them for taking a lead in supporting this event. Big Tree Catering came through with their show-stopping food, Island Beats kept the vibes going all night long on the steel drums, and our numerous oyster and beverage donors kept us all refreshed. Lastly, a big round of gratitude goes out to our silent auction donors, and everyone at Splash! who bid early and often to make the auction a huge success!

Most importantly, your support of Splash! ensures that the Maine Island Trail remains cared for, accessible, and vibrant for all who love it.
