Now Hiring: Island Caretakers

Spending a summer living on a Maine island is a rare opportunity. Even more rare is getting paid for doing it!

MITA is seeking qualified candidates for TWO seasonal caretaker positions, one on Jewell Island and one on Little Chebeague Island in Casco Bay. The caretaker will be primarily responsible for monitoring recreational activity, providing stewardship services, and educating island visitors on low-impact practices when camping.
