Spring Cleanup Registration Opens May 7!

We can feel it in the air… quite literally. Spring is here, and MITA is gearing up to get back out on the Trail. We want you to come with us to help get it cleaned up for the season ahead!

Registration for Spring Cleanups will open at mita.org/cleanups on May 7. If you’ve never volunteered with us before, then you’ll be able to sign up for one of a limited number of early access spots on April 30 so that you can beat the rush and have your first experience out there with us! Information on that process will be announced prior to April 30.

Casco Bay: June 3
Muscongus Bay: June 3
Deer Isle: June 10
Downeast: June 24

Our cleanups always fill up very quickly, but if you don’t land a spot this time, there’s no reason to feel discouraged. We are out on the Trail all season long and will have tons of opportunities for you to volunteer with us. We push volunteer information out continuously, so be on the lookout on our website and social media channels. And, of course, we’ll have our Fall Cleanups as well to look forward to when the time comes!
