This SOLO Wilderness First Aid Afloat (WFAA) course contains all the same information included in the SOLO Wilderness First Aid course (Response and Assessment, Musculoskeletal Injuries, Environmental Emergencies, Survival Skills, Soft Tissue Injuries, and Medical Emergencies). It also includes additional topics specifically designed for boaters including: sea sickness, marine bites and stings, injuries that are more common in marine environments, and environment specific rescue scenarios.
Schedule: Saturday & Sunday 9:00AM – 5:00PM
CPR, for those who need it, will follow class on Saturday.
This is an incredible course! Not only will you gain the skills you need to care for people in a remote location, but you will have a fantastic time. There will be a mix of classroom sessions, practice sessions and outdoor scenarios.
Course include: Materials for practice scenarios, WFAA book, WFAA map, 2 year certification and instruction.
