Bois Bubert Cleanup – Day 2

Join MITA for a volunteer day on Bois Bubert Island. Launching from Millbridge, experienced MITA staff or volunteer skippers will take a crew out by small skiff to assist in shoreline cleanup of the island.
Boat departs at 9 a.m. and volunteers are asked to arrive 10 minutes early to check in. Project work will begin upon arriving on the island. The crew will break for lunch and continue working afterwards then return to the mainland around 4pm. This is a full day event, and volunteers need to be physically fit, able to climb in and out of the skiffs, and walk along uneven and often slippery shorelines.
