Office Volunteering
Island stewardship is an ongoing task, and so too is the upkeep of the paperwork, files, and data that makes it possible. Year-round, the office enthusiastically welcomes volunteers to provide administrative support for stewardship, membership, fundraising, and marketing initiatives. Working weekdays during business hours at the Portland headquarters, office volunteers lend a hand with a variety of "behind the scenes" tasks that directly benefit the islands, such as mailing fulfillment, data entry, research, filing, and editing. If you have an hour or two to spare and would like to contribute to island stewardship from the comfort of an office chair, we’d love to hear from you! Email us at info@mita.org for more information.
